Mail and Print is dedicated to providing a quality service that ensures minimal impact on the environment. We operate in compliance with all relevant waste management and environmental legislation and endeavour to make environmental sustainability one of our key business objectives.
We ensure our suppliers have the same ethical environmental principles as us and only use envelopes which are recyclable and have been produced in a sustainable way. We also offer sustainably produced paper as well.
From aiming to source raw materials which have minimum environmental impact during manufacture, use and eventual disposal, to using energy efficient lighting and promoting car-sharing, we strive at all scales to maintain lasting initiatives which contribute to sustaining our environment for today and the future.

Recycling
Here at Mail and Print, we recognise the environmental concerns of the printing and mailing industry, so we place recycling at the top of our ongoing priorities. All cardboard and paper waste material is recycled and we make every effort to re-use as much of our supplied packaging on site as possible. As a large volume of waste is recycled, we require minimal waste collection removing unnecessary transportation and CO2 production.
We stock 100% recycled envelopes and paper as well as eco-friendly biodegradable or recyclable polythene wrapping. We recycle our press rags and are embarking upon the reconditioning and retailing of used boxes we receive everyday which are often in perfect condition even after we are finished with them. This will provide a second life for much of our cardboard, which will further delay the need for recycling.
Car Sharing
At mail and print we recognise the impact that we have on the environment, so as a business 66% of our employees currently car share this means that we have reduced our CO2 emissions and therefore our fuel consumption.
